In the framework of the implementation of the Action Plan for the reform of the Registrar of Companies, and following our announcement dated 7/6/21, the Ministry of Energy, Commerce and Industry announces the organization of the following webinars for the implementation of the 2nd Bundle of the new statutory forms of the Companies Section:

The webinars are organised for the business community in order to support the users and ensure the most effective implementation of the 2nd Bundle of the new statutory forms which are expected to be implemented in September 2021, as shown in the list provided below.

The new statutory forms are part of the legislative package published on 18/12/2018 in the context of modernization and reorganization of the Department of Registrar of Companies and aims, on the one hand to the simplification of the procedures of the Companies Section and on the other, to ensure the adequate and timely updating of the companies’ Register.

The ultimate goal of redesigning the forms is to reduce the processing time through, among others, the following changes:

• Simplification of forms
• Consolidation of related forms
• Creation of new forms to support existing and new services
• Enrichment with explanatory notes
• Ensuring the validity of the submitted data by introducing a solemn declaration
• Customization of the forms in PDF editable form

In parallel, with the 2nd Bundle of statutory forms, one of the most significant reforms is put into implementation. The administrative restoration of a company, that has been struck off the Register by the Registrar of Companies due to non-compliance, which can be restored on the Register following a simplified, out of Court procedure.

Speakers / trainers of the webinars are Mr. Kypros Ioannidis and Mr. Michalis Georgiou of the law firm " Hadjianastassiou, Ioannides LLC." (part of Deloitte Legal network), which is also responsible for the redesign of all forms and the drafting of the relevant amendment bills / Regulations.
