Closing a Company

A company may cease its operations in the Republic of Cyprus in a number of ways such as voluntary strike off, cross-border merger, transfer of seat outside the Republic of Cyprus or by reason of its involuntary strike off by the Registrar of Companies for non-complying with its statutory obligations e.g submission of annual returns.

Notwithstanding the above, subsequently to its voluntary or involuntary strike off, a company may be restored to the companies register.
