Signature of the contract for the development and implementation of an Integrated Registry Platform Solution for the two sections of the Department
The Department of Registrar of Companies and Intellectual Property announces that on Tuesday, 11th October, 2022 the contract for the development and implementation of an Integrated Registry Platform Solution for the two sections of the Department, was signed by the Director of the Department of Information Technology Services, Mrs Andriana Achilleos and Mr Dimitris Nissiotis, General Manager of NET-U CONSULTANTS LIMITED, on behalf of the contractor, in the presence of the Minister of Energy, Commerce and Industry, Mrs Natasa Pilides, the Deputy Minister of Research, Innovation and Digital Policy, Mr Kyriakos Kokkinos and the Registrar of Companies and Intellectual Property, Mrs Irene Mylona Chrysostomou.
The project's budget amounts to €14 million, of which €6.6 million will be financed by the EU Recovery and Resilience Facility, via the Cyprus National Recovery and Resilience Plan "Cyprus_ tomorrow" and is expected to be completed in the 1st half of 2025.
The new IT solution will drive the digital transformation of the two Sections of the Department to become established as frontrunners in digital presence, online capabilities and outstanding customer service delivered by efficient internal processes and supported by flexible IT systems. The project is based on the results of the business process reengineering completed by the Project Team assigned by the Council of Ministers, to implement the reform program of the Department under the supervision of the Ministry’s Permanent Secretary.
