Webinars Presentations for the implementation of the new statutory forms
The Ministry of Energy, Commerce and Industry announces that the presentations of the webinars for the implementation of the 1st and 2nd bundle of the new statutory forms of the Companies Section organised by the Project Team for the Reform of the Department, have been published on the Section’s website as follows:
In the context of implementation of the transformation programme, the webinars were organized in an effort to support the users (both internal and external) and ensure the most effective implementation of the 1st and 2nd Bundle of the new statutory forms. It is noted, that the 2nd Bundle is expected to be implemented shortly, following the publication of a relevant Notification issued by the Registrar of Companies in the Official Gazette.
We would like to thank the business community for their immense and active participation (attracting the interest of over 2,000 individuals in total).
The new statutory forms are part of the legislative package published on 18/12/2018 in the context of modernization and reorganization of the Department of Registrar of Companies and aims, on the one hand to simplify procedures and on the other to ensure the adequate and timely updating of the companies’ Register.
The ultimate goal is to reduce processing time via , among others, the following changes:
- Simplification of forms
- Consolidation of related forms
- Creation of new forms to support existing and new services
- Enrichment with explanatory notes
- Ensuring the validity of the submitted data by introducing a solemn declaration
- Customization of the forms in PDF editable form
The webinars’ speakers / trainers were Mr. Kypros Ioannidis and Mr. Michalis Georgiou of the law firm " Hadjianastassiou, Ioannides LLC." (part of Deloitte Legal network), which was also responsible for the preparation of the legislative package including the new statutory forms.
