The above graph depicts the total number of applications submitted for search in the register of the Registrar of Companies, during the period from1st of January to 31st of December, of each year from 2006 to 2018.

During the reference period, the number of search applications submitted, ranges from approximately 3.300 (in 2014) to approximately 102.500 (in 2018). Consequently, the average number of search applications submitted during the said period corresponds to approx. 60.800.

It is also noteworthy that the surge in the search applications submittedin the year 2015 and onwards is mainly due to the completion of a project relating to the creation of an electronic file for all active, at the time, organisations registered with the Registrar of Companies.
