Liquidation of an overseas company

An overseas company that maintains a place of business in the Republic of Cyprus, may be liquidated by Court regardless of whether it was dissolved or ceased as a company in the country of incorporation.

Upon completion of the voluntary liquidation, the Registrar of Companies will proceed with the relevant publication of strike off the company in the official gazette of the Republic of Cyprus.
