Certificate of Incorporation

Provided that the Registrar of Companies is satisfied that all the relevant legal requirements for the registration of a business name have been met, he will proceed with the registration of the business name, the publication of the Company’s registration to the Official Gazette and the issuance of the certificate of its incorporation.

The business name registration number is stated is on the certificate of incorporation. 

The certificate of incorporation may be obtained via e-filing (in case of electronic submission of the application), from the Department’s mail boxes or by post.

Certified Copies

Optionally, by paying the amount of twenty euro (€20) for every certified copy and the fee of twenty euro (€20) for every certified copy in case of accelerated process, the following Certificates/Certified copies of business name may be issued:

• Certified Copy of Certificate of Incorporation;
• Certified Copy of Place of Business’ Address;
• Certified Copy of Form EE1.

The certificates and certified copies that are issued electronically are marked with an authenticity code. The authenticity of documents can be verified electronically for a period of ninety (90) days from the date of issue.
