Applying to register EEIG's branch

Provided that you have taken the relevant decisions regarding the establishment of your EEIG's branch, you may proceed with the submission, within one month of the date of the branch's establishment in the Republic of Cyprus, the form declaration of registration of EEIG's branch (form ΕΟΟΣ2), by hand/ via post, accompanied by:

• contract of formation of EEIG;
• certified translation of the contract, either by an affidavit or by sworn translator of the Republic of Cyprus, in case where the original is in a language other than Greek;
• the form Details and Change of Details in relation to Officers (form ΕΟΟΣ3);
• the total fee of three hundred and forty euro (€340), and an additional fee of one hundred euro (€100) in case you wish to accelerate the process.

The fees are payable in cash, by cheque, through an account maintained with the Department of Registrar of Companies or through bank order.

Provided that the Registrar of Companies is satisfied that all relevant requirements of the legislation and the regulation (EEC) No 2137/85, for the registration of an EEIG's branch, have been met, he will proceed with the registration of the EEIG's branch, the publication of the EEIG’s branch registration to the Official Gazette and will inform accordingly the Publications Office of the European Union.
