Incorporation of a subsidiary European Company

Certificate of SE Incorporation

Provided that the Registrar of Companies is satisfied that all relevant to the circumstances, legal requirements for the incorporation of the SE have been met, he will proceed to issue the certificate of incorporation, publish the SE company in the Official Gazette of the Republic, and notify the Publication Office of the European Union.

The issuance of the certificate of incorporation marks the beginning of the company's legal existence and it constitutes undisputable evidence that all legal requirements regarding for its registration, as well as all relevant steps prior to it, have been complied with. The company's registration number is stated on the certificate of incorporation.

The certificate of incorporation may be obtained from the Department’s mail boxes or by post.

Certificates/Certified Copies

Certificates/Certified copies of the following documents may be obtained, if required, at the cost of:

  • one hundred and twenty euros (€120) if accompanied with a certified copy of the memorandum and articles of association, or
  • one hundred and thirty euros (€130) if no copy is attached and
  • the fee of one hundred euros (€100) if the accelerated process is required.
  • Certificate of Members;
  • Certificate of Directors and Secretary;
  • Certificate of Registered Office Address;
  • Certified copy of Company’s Memorandum and Articles of Association;
  • Certified copy of Certificate of Incorporation.
